The typing goes along with the design, Blastoise or Feraligatr didn't really warrant a separate type, just like Typhlosion didn't. Blaziken started a shit trend, to the point where Delphox is literally the opposite of Fire/Fighting. They acknowledged how shitty the Fire/Fighting thing was.

Here's my beef with a couple.

Delphox would be great if its head was a little bigger and the bottom of the "dress" it has would be a little less bulky.

Megaium would be great if it wasn't slow as fuck and had a better movepool/defenses.

Serperior would be great if it had a wider movepool and had its stats redistributed nicely.

Samurott would be great with a Fighting type and switching its Special attack and putting it more on attack.

Typlosion needs a slightly better movepool.

Infernape is great the way (s)he is but design-wise the Sun wu kong thing didn't need ALL of those squiggles.

Charizard, rocks, and slightly faster.

Blaziken you OP piece of shit, you look kind of funny.

Great tier and God tier don't really need fixing except for Chesnaught being slow but it's tanky... (it's not good for its typing).

Sceptile needs a better special movepool.

Feraligtr needs his DW ability.

Swampert needs a better DW ability.

Everyone else is great.

You're not. Not only my favorite starter, but my all-time favorite Pokemon.

My top five are Meganium, two Eeveelutions (Umbreon and Sylveon), Absol, and Lucario, I'm used to my opnions being shat on.
