Careful 252 HP/ 24 SpD / rest into attack.

Noivern
Timid 252 Spe 252 SpA

Vaporeon
248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe

Weaville
Adamant 252 Attack / 252 Spe / 8 Hp

Aegislash
Brave Split Def and HP / 252 Attack

I'm looking for suggestions of either new pokemon or substitutions if you have any in mid.

I was thinking Mawile could cover switch into things that would kill Noivern. Vaporeon takes the heat off of my steel types. Aegislash is my gengar counter and Weaville to take out whatever sweepers they may have.

It isn't the comic's fault. The artist takes tweets and stuff people write and make comics about them. So spelling mistakes and that jazz are kept as is. Most of the time the mistakes are there to be laughed at

Looking for suggestions of my team as well more of a what to add to my team, What I have so far:
Ferrowthorn
>252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD (or as close as I could get)
Moves: Curse, powerwhip, ingrain, gyro ball (going to get stealthrock for it though)

Volcarona
>252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Moves currently: Flamethrower, Heat wave(getting replaced with hurricane), bug buzz and quiver dance

(Mega) Gengar
>4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Moves: Thunderbolt, Shadow ball, focus blast, substitute

Cloyster (Skill link)
>4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Moves: Icebeam, icicle spear, shell smash, razor shell

What should I add to my team? I was thinking about goodra or garchomp, but I'm open to just about everything.

It can take ice and dragon attacks pretty well. And Aegislash has shadow sneak which should do the trick no?

Non-mega mawile is shit. It's kinda limiting you if your mawile has to be mega in order to take ice attacks for noivern.

Also, subdisable gengar just #rekt your other pokemon and is now behind a substitute, wat do?

I've been wondering this; how is Aegislash not at least a check on Gengar? a STAB, super effective Shadow Sneak seems like it would do the trick.

Because most people are going to A) run him as mega gengar
and B) are going to have his speed super high you will NEVER get the first hit on a properly crafted gengar and because of this it's more likely attacks like focus blast or shadow ball will wreck your face.

Among others. See my issue? They're all fucking slow as shit. I know TR isn't really worth it in singles, and Sticky Web probably won't make enough of a difference.I was thinking of just maxing all dat bulk, and then setting up Spikes, Tspikes, SR, etc, have someone shuffling and tanking, a spinblocker and a spinner. Maybe ONE fast attacker to help even the scales a little. Is 'Toise good sans-mega? With say, Surf, Rspin, Dark Pulse (for those trying to block spinning), Dtail? I would say Avalugg with Avalanche, Recover, Rspin and Roar, but another physical defender seems redundant. Someone who can wishpass? Any help would be great.

My team is almost identical, except I have Galvantula instead of Volcarona. I also have Sableye and Scrafty. Thinking about swapping in Starmie, Mega Kangaskhan or Volcarona.

Because a few things could happen here:

You switch in Aegis the turn Gengar comes out, Gengar uses Substitute. You SS down the sub and get OHKO by the Shadowball because you're in attack form.

You switch in Aegis and eat a Shadowball. Not sure if this would OHKO you or not, but ti would hurt like hell. I'm also not sure a non boosted SS would kill Mega Gengar. If it does: Gengar gets switched out and replaced with Gliscor. You eat an EQ and die or are forced to switch. if it doesn't: You eat another Shadowball and die or are forced to switch.

You basically have to rely on the Gengar player being an idiot for Aegis to counter it.

You either King's Shield the initial Shadowball from behind the sub, which does nothing for you. Or you SS down the sub and die. You switched into Mega Gengar the turn he subbed.
