Is anybody else getting pissed off with how long the Elite Four battles take to start up? I need an easy way to get money/experience and these seem to be the best right now... but god damn, unskipable cutscenes EVERY time? The dialogue takes ages to skip through too.

Throw an Amulet Coin and run through the Battle Chateau. Unless you need EXP, it's a pretty good way of making cash. Just sent a Writ of Invitation or whatever and grind it up if you have a couple hours to spare.

But yeah, the E4 animations are a bit annoying.

No, I like them. I like the arena changes, especially Siebold's and Drasna's, and I like their dialogue too.

Grimsley last gen had that "sometimes a coin doesn't land on heads or tails; sometimes, it doesn't land at all!" corny little diatribe. the chick was writing the creepy fanfic, etc.

once you get a Mewtwo / Xerneas up to level 100, you can fly through the e4 with one poke anyways, so the battles won't take that long

I think it's got worse as time went on. Gens 1 and 2 had just a quick bit of dialogue... pretty sure gen 3 did too.

I loved Kalos' Elite Four. Best out of every generation IMO.
Hoenn's is a close second just because I've beaten it hundreds of times and it's always fun.

Kalos region E4 is my favourite now, beating out Gen 5's
I feel like the E4 characters become better in the newer generations. Not necessarily their type but just simply their character design and their 'gimmick', so to speak.

That as well. I also like that, besides dragon, the E4 uses types that don't usually get used in the E4. Yes, they have been used before (water and steel as champion, fire in gen 4), but at least it's not the generic Ghost-Dark-Fighting-Psychic one we had in Gen 5

Triple battles in Restaurant le WoW is waay faster for leveling.

I've been powerleveling with the hordes in victory road. No idea if its efficient or not but that's what I've been doing.

I've been doing it for so long that my Heliolisk is at 99 armed with Parabolic Charge and Surf, my (male lol) Combee is at 83, and I've probably got like 130+ Honey that I'll probably use if i ever feel like leveling five pokemon instead of four.

I might change things up and start using someone that can Earthquake. I'm training a shiny Mold Breaker Excadrill at the moment. Fuck you, Sturdy Geodudes

Do not listen to the retards suggesting the battle shitteau

Here is what you do

1-. Get one pokemon that wrecks shit in one hit

2-. Get two other pokes you want to level (or three, and switch one with the one that wrecks shit)

3-. Get to restaurant le yeah

4-. Activate prize money / exp boost

5-. Go into rotation battles and let your poke sit through full exp while your main mon destroys everything

6-. Literally make 150k/200k per course and loads of exp

I went from level 20/30 to 50/60 in an hour.
