Stunfisk is way better than people give it credit for. A lot of people say it looks dumb. But it's at least partly based on the Stargazer fish. And it looks way better than that, at least.

That is an awful picture of stunfisk.
It should be looking like a complete asshole.

He also has the best moves.
I lose it every time a stunfisk uses bounce.
I can't help but imagine that the trainer is just throwing stunfisks at the enemy.

Stunfisks biggest problem is its typing, honestly. As cool as a Ground/Electric Pokemon sounds, its resistances are pointless (Flying? Poison? Who cares. And Steel and Rock are decent resistances but not anything special, immunity to electric is cool but nothing to write home about) while its weaknesses are crippling (Water, Ground, Ice namely). And its too slow to combat those Water or Grounds with a STAB Thunderbolt or Surf decently.

It SOUNDS like a cool typing, but in practice it's kinda shit.

I could see it being good for a sweeper, STAB Electric and Ground are great and it wouldn't need to care about weaknesses.

But for the stats it has, the problems of its weaknesses outweigh the positives of its resistances, surely?
