Tyrantrum and Hawlucha are mine. I knew I'd have a Tyrantrum as soon as he was revealed, Hawlucha was a pleasant surprise.

Tyrunt/Tyrantrum saved gen 6's overall Pokemon design quality for me, of course I was going to use him. I was also debating whether to use Blaziken in-game. In the end, I decided to leave him for the battle facilities and use Talonflame. It was the best decision I made, partly because Blaziken would have made the game far too easy and partly because Talonflame was brilliant. It also let me partake in sky battles.

Honestly, every single Fossil Pokemon has had a solid design and are generally pretty usable when kicking ass.

The only one I'm not entirely thrilled with is Lileep/Cradilly (however you spell their names), but you can't do much with a prehistoric plant.

I'm happy they finally did a Tyrannosaurus, though. Tyrantrum was my first Level 100 Pokemon in my game.

When tryunt came out, I felt as if they where going to fuck up his evolution.
I was so fucking wrong. T-wrecks is a fucking demon. It has great attack and defense, and it's speed can be patched with rock polish. It also can make use of biting moves like a motherfucker. He is tied with armaldo for best fossil pokemon.

Rampardos's attack is wonderful, but I don't get why they made his HP high
If gamfreak made his HP 50. like the rest of his bulk, and invested that 50 in speed, he would have had been amazing. He's just to slow to attack and is rekt by anything that is SE against him.
Armaldo I like because he has an awesome design, and his cry is awesome too. Never used him in NU, but being there must mean he sucks.

It's kind of bullshit. Amaura got this rad ability and crazy signature move, and all Tyrunt gets is some base 65 power, 95 accuracy egg moves.

I guess they figured everyone would pick Tyrantrum based on design, so they gave Aurorus unique tools to balance it out.

Without raging too much at this, let me just point out that NU pokemon are just more difficult to use effectively, not necessarily bad. In fact, most pokemon have their uses, as long as you teambuild carefully.

Didn't expect THIS thing to wind up being not only my closest bro, but my favorite Gen VI Pokemon overall.

One-shotting Yveltals in free battle with hyper beam never gets old. Sure it gives them a free turn, but they rarely capitalize on it.

As generic as this list must seem now. I love the way this guy looks, his cry, and how he fights. Setting up for a sweep while the enemy feebly chips away at Shield Forme is hilarious. Equally easy to nickname as Hawlucha, and I'll always love the way he snaps to parade rest when sent out.

Motherfucking pistol shrimp, and fun as hell to battle with too. As tired as the portmanteau naming scheme is getting (see: Talonflame) this is one example of a very good one.

Should probably clarify. I caught Bunnelby on a whim not really thinking anything of it. We Take Down'd our way through Kalos until he evolved into popeye the sailor boss over here. Been a very unexpected bro to the end where he pretty much bodied Diantha on his own. (Not like it was hard in the first place.)

I picked this team out before I got the game, and stuck with it throughout the main storyline.

I'm using other Pokemon in postgame though, namely Goodra (who's my best bro in this game) and Gardevoir. Also will probably retire Blaziken from in-game soon, as he reached Level 100 yesterday. I've also barely used my Chesnaught or Blastoise since I finished the main story.
