Gen VI chaining is literally this easy
There aren't special rules like there were in Gen IV
Hell you can even be riskier than this sometimes but if you follow these steps you'll get 30+ easily.

Stay in front of the daycare? theres a good stretch of land there, as soon as one egg hatches you can quickly box it inside of the center, and get the next egg. It's not difficult at all and takes little to no effort. Why would you fly Lumiose?

Another concept that doesn't matter at all is isolation. As long as it's as far away as possible and is maximum memegorilla/memepedo, it's a good patch.

Or you could just grab 4-5 eggs. and then let Eiffel tower run its course for 4-5 min and then check every 1 min for 5 instantly freshly hatched.

No, because after 5 eggs have hatched only one is back at the daycare, you would have to run back and forth anyways to get 4-5 eggs, by the time you have them all the first should be close to hatching anyways. That is insanely slow gathering them all at once. I now understand why all these people are complaining after 3 or 5 Boxes. Because they are using this shit method.

First you have to take all the time to gather the eggs, then you have to go to Lumiose and do the spin method. Then, you still have to take the stupid thing off to switch to the next batch every 5 minutes. You might as well have been hatching them WHILE you're getting them, you're actually wasting time doing that method, even more so than just 5 eggs and doing the spin thing.

Okay, so I'm the fag who thought his jap eevee ran out of mojo from yesterday. After about 4 boxes, I gave up and started trying for wurmple with similar luck.
I just don't get it. Last week I did Espurr-26 eggs, and Buizel-22 eggs. Yesterday I got a shiny Eevee in 14, but now I'm as unlucky as you all.

Just got a shiny noibat within 10 minutes in friend safari. Previously, I spent over an hour in another safari with no shinies. (Also chained electrikes for a solid week to no avail)

I'm thinking the shiny rate is definitely increased in friend safari, but possibly only for a certain duration (maybe the first 20ish minutes?)

I've noticed that most people who post about friend safari shinies also mention it was within the first few minutes.

Any thoughts?
