I personally use Absol or Breloom.

Thunder Wave + False Swipe

Spore + False Swipe

both can sword dance, only problem is ghosts. I wish we had a scrappy false swiper.

I was using my own Mawile. Put a Shiny Gabite on 1HP. Take Down, RIP.

Aegislash doesn't care about Take Down or Double Edge. By far the safest option.

Aegislash line is the best False Swiper.

- Ghost Typing makes them able to escape any battle.
- Swords Dance + False Swipe is easy to get, early, and generally more effective than multiple false swipes. Spending turns SDing gives you time to assess a wild pokemon's moveset and avoid False Swiping if you know they can kill themselves.
- Good defensive type generally. Will take hits nicely, and with a sub will avoid most problematic encounters.
- Most importantly: Ghost typing means most recoil moves will not activate against them, the most common example being Take Down. Moves such as Last Gambit will fail to work too.

All it lacks is status moves.

Poison Heal + toxic orb keeps you alive AND prevents you from para/sleep/burn, sub also helps keep you alive, spore keeps them asleep, false swipe for obvious reasons.

Status is more important than being at one hp. Asleep and in the yellow has a higher catch rate than just 1 HP and no status.

It gets False Swipe, Mean Look (egg move) and Hypnosis (as a Ralts/Kirlia). Give it whatever you want for the last move and you're good to go.

The "Dark" stone is the Dusk Stone.
the "Light" stone by contrast should be the Dawn Stone. And the other stone is really shiny.

And yet the "Light" stone is the shiny stone and the other stone is the Dawn stone.
