I having some trouble breeding, /vp/.

I am trying to IV breed using various guides, yet none of the perfect IVs are spreading to the offspring.

My Ditto is rash with perfect HP and SP-Def (holding Destiny Knot) and the Adamant Honedge I want to breed has Attack and Speed IVs (holding everstone).

But out of 20 offspring, every single one of them acquires only one of the four possible perfect IVs.

Am I doing something wrong or am I simply unlucky?

How does that work? Wouldn't that mean I need to drop the Everstone to keep the Adamant nature?

Breed for Nature later. After you have them all on 1 pokemon you can get all 4 on any future offspring much easier. Because the destiny knot transfers them from the same pokemon.

Use a ditto that shares one IV with Honedge(Attack or speed), and had a HP or SP.Def IV.

Make a honedge with three perfect IVs, then replace ditto and honedge with new ones.

I've been breeding honedges as well and I don't know what to do about my situation. I bred a Honedge with 4 max IV's (HP, Atk, Def and Sp.Def), but it only got a potentially superior from the judge. My autism is quickly rising because it did not get outstanding potential. Should I just keep this bastard or keep breeding?
