Could someone with time who's going to be grinding a safari anyways run a trial for me? I've been programming a shitty emulator bazoinga for a class all day, only stopping to post some shit here and make a trade, and can't actually do dick. Go into a safari and encounter 624 Pokemon. I'm going to test the shit out of this anyways next week when I'll finally have a break from big assignments, but it'd be nice to have some data. I can't get any sets big enough to actually test hardcore but I think I can use what I know of probability to find a slightly more efficient way of farming gardens with a few trials.

What I did was look for foreign pokemon in the same egg group that were obviously breeder rejects/trade fodder. You're going to probably lose like 5-10 5iv pokemon but its worth the grief. Request they be male and levels 1-10, since folks usually don't trade off ones they've already bred with. Then tag it with stuff like 4v+ JP ONLY.

I bothered to give it nice stats because I know that Meowstic is pretty shitty and I wanted to do whatever I could to help it. But I love shiny female Meowstic so much that I wanted it regardless.

It also helps that I popped onto GTS and got a fucking amazing level 1 Japanese Espurr with all maxed IVs except for Sp Def in exchange for just a level 1 Clauncher.

In order to get a good Pokémon to use in the Masuda method I ended up getting a Japanese guy on my acquaintance list. But now I need quidance.

He looks at people's PR videos, trades quite a lot, and he breeds, because I see him using hatching power 3 all the time. All this and his profile tell me he's a great guy.

And so I've been trying whatever I can to get on hist good side. I've sent him O-Powers and "Nice!" comments, and he sometimes returns them.

I've traded a few of my 4IV Pokémon with him, and he's given me some of his bred Pokémon in return. None of them are particularly great, though. The best one was a Pumpkaboo with 3 max IVs.

Now it is time for the next step. I will have to give him a 5IV Pokémon, but how should I do it? Should I communicate using nicknames? Will he trust me? Will I scare him away?
