Hoenn is probably the most true soundtrack that appropriately expresses the meaning of the word adventure in the form of wonderful music.

Route 119 alone is better than most tracks in XY.

Geosenge in particular makes me remember RO's OST.

The Autumn route was unexpected from Pokemon too.

I'm glad they're moving away from the 24/7 rave music. Finally handhelds are at a level that aren't held back too much by specs.

Fix your taste.

Moving away from melodies that stuck out too much was good like some rave music. It sounded nice but it was very shallow, what I'd describe Initial D's soundtrack (which I love for the record).

Kalos felt really fresh because it was what background music is supposed to be, setting up a proper atmosphere.

I'd feel like the rest of the other regions would feel tacky if not for nostalgia.

Hugh's theme sounds like a Mega Man Perfect Collection song though, which is probably why I like it so much.
