so i was doing some thinking about the garden hedges mystery and what the top left pokemon might be so i looked up the dex entries of chandelure, pyroar, and solrock and their types are> rock > psychic > ghost > fire and then i tought.. what types do the 3 "mystery legends have"> rock > psychic > ghost > fire > water > fairy so it might be a water fairy type, seeming thats the only 2 types that are off and the only water fairy types are marill and azumarill and even tho the hedge doesnt look like it maybe something will happen if you put those 4 pokemon together so i think someone should try it out because why not

Spirtomb guy here. Checked all around, nothing is happening. I think more than likely, we'll need Reshiram and Zekrom. This was probably done on purpose so that people would be unable to unlock anything extra in XY. The statues are too bizarre for a legendary that doesn't even reside in that region to do nothing. (And an NPC near the zekrom statue mentions that the 2 regions are connected) Alternatively, the back one looks a bit like Gyarados to me.

I think /vp/ is chasing nothing, if they were going to do something like regis again, I feel it would likely involve one of the "deeper" locations, one of the caves or something. Maybe the hedges give info about a future puzzle, but the hedges themselves probably aren't anything.

OHHH SHIT. Just realized something. The bottom two are Chandelure and Pyroar, and the typings for them are Ghost/Fire and Fire/Normal, respectively. Because Ghost and Normal cannot hit eachother, that leaves us with Fire. However, Chandelure has Fire as a secondary typing, while Pyroar has Fire as it's primary typing. Now, look at the top two. The only one of this pair that we can plainly see is Solrock, which is Rock/Psychic. To fit the pattern, we either need a Psychic/Something that is immune to Rock, but cannot hit Rock either, or a Something that is immune to Psychic/Rock. Which there aren't as far as I can tell. Now, look at Psychic as a monotype. In Generation I, you couldn't hit a Psychic Pokemon with a Ghost-type move. In Generation II and onwards, Psychic-type moves cannot hit a Dark Pokemon. What Pokemon are Ghost/Dark? And then there's Rock. Rock has never been immune to anything, nor anything being immune to it. It's the outlier of this, and I can't figure it out. Maybe you guys could figure it out.
