Anybody else attempting the Super Multi Battle with AI partners? Anybody with a competent AI partner? Mine has a Flareon and a Florges. The one I'm using currently has a Thundurus and a Snorlax. Somehow predicting your partner's actions is harder than predicting your enemie's.

I got to battle 19 in Doubles before having my ENTIRE TEAM wiped out by a motherfucking Heatmor spamming Focus Blast. Didn't miss once. Was buffed by Tailwind so I couldn't outspeed it. All I could do was watch as he hacked his way to his ill-gotten victory.

Didn't you have priority attacks to prevent that? Or was the priority used the first one it killed?
I lost twice with a 30+ streak in Super Singles because of enemies being capable of setting up for some reason. After that I always carry priority to avoid this kind of situation.

I've been running pretty well so far with this team, forgot where I left off at in Super Singles but it was somewhere in the 30s:

- Dark Pulse (haven't been using this much, might switch out for Extrasensory soon)

Garchomp (Rough Skin) @ Garchompite

- Dragon Claw
- Poison Jab (too lazy to breed for Iron Head, still waiting for this to fuck me over)
- Earthquake

Togekiss (Serene Grace) @ Leftovers
252 HP, 252 Speed
- Air Slash
- Dazzling Gleam
- Nasty Plot
- Roost

Hadn't had a single close call yet. Then again I haven't run into much Sturdy/Focus Sash/hax bullshit at this stage. LO Protean Greninja is a serious beast in terms of coverage and has great synergy with the other two which I can easily switch in if there's an Electric/Fighting move waiting for me in the wings.

When you only have three pokemon, something like Sableye isn't really worth it. If you have to I'd go with a Klefki with the screens and TWave, but you're right about having a Gengar or something like that.

Vivillion has swept entire teams, but it's fairly weak to anything faster, or that goddamn slurpuff that just OHKO'd it with flamethrower.

I don't really know any player who thinks like that. Most competitive players enjoy the game as anybody else would and then they move onto competitive, where they meet other people who also like competing against humans, preferably players who are actually competent so the victory has some meaning, not 12 years old.

After the battle I took the Blissey to replace my Golem and saw that it had over 1100 HP, to this day I don't understand.
