As much as I love the first two games, the third one kind of bothered me. It seemed dumbed down in favor of better graphics.

Because the thr first two games were really good, they still contained the ability to recruit all existing pokemon till that point like the Main Series.

Ranger probably didn't take off too well due to people not wanting to do fast circles all the time on their touch screen.
