So, we all know the Fairy type was mainly introduced to nerf the Dragon type. Since the games have come out we've had the opportunity to experiment with them and learn about their role in the game.

But I have to ask, was it really necessary? Were Dragons really that overpowered, or was it simply 13 year olds not knowing how to handle a single type?
