I was just fucking around in the Battle Maison with my substitute klefki when I was put against an NPC with a chandelure.

First turn I hit subsitute and the chandelure uses flamethrower

IT HIT ME RIGHT THROUGH MY SUB.


How the fuck is this possible? Is it hax? Some item?
