Started playing pokemon X and decided to attempt to get a shiny charmander as a starter in celebration for the new mega evolutions. To make this grind a little more feasible, does anyone know if I'll be able to determine if it is shiny or not before I actually obtain it? Mayhaps in the preview? or when Sycamore sends him out?
