I'm also an ausfag who was waiting for a PAL purple system since it's announcement.

Ended up going fuck it and getting a 3ds xl because Pokemon was just around the corner and fuck importing. Our games are expensive but you end up paying the same for overseas shipping.

Not regretting the decision. 3ds xl is the shit, but man... that purple..

I've never had Walmart do that to me, but last system I bought there was a blue DS lite years ago at a Black Friday sale.
Just make sure you pick up a charger if you don't have one already.
Apparently XLs don't come with them.

Yours was just a regular one, right? Mine definitely didn't, but I haven't bought any other XL before. It didn't have a charger or a cable, nor did it say anywhere on the box that one should've been included.
