Does anyone else think that Togekiss would've been stronger if it kept it's normal type?

Are you high? He now resists fighting 4x and has a STAB counter to it. All this did was give him weakness to two of the rarest attack types in the game, an immunity to one of the most ubiquitous, and a myriad of more resistances and usable STAB.
