If you want a solid Talonflame counter go with Rotom Wash or Rotom Heat.

If your playing in those tiers then you should never encounter a Talonflame, he is going to sitting in OU for a while, though I would not be surprised if he hit UU eventually.

Tiers don't mean much in random matchup right now. I'm just so fucking tired of seeing Talonflame/Blaziken/Garchomp/Lucario/Charizard that I want the pleasure of destroying my OU/Ubers opponents with something they never expected.

Malamar gets a surprising number of sweeps this way.

Speaking of, this is for a trick room set.
