I was thinking of getting a 3ds recently, only to find out that it is sold out in all local shops. Almost all shops seem to have completely switched over to XL.

A friend said that the XL unit is simply stretched and that it comes with pixel issues. Is this prominent when playing X/Y, also, are there any good comparison screencaps?
