It seems better, and it's definitely better at night (UK time). Last night I actually got stuff I didn't have in the Pokedex, like Dratini.
I also got probably the best thing I've received, a level 48 Sliggoo. It was nicknamed and everything, I can't help wondering if it was an accident.

I got an Adamant Japanese Marill with 4 IVs the other day.
