What are they? I can only think of Sunkern.

Also, I'd say this only really works if we solely take stats into account. If we include moves as well, Magikarp doesn't learn diddly-squat. Even Sunkern can still get Giga Drain and Hidden Power. Magikarp gets Splash, Tackle, Flail, and Bounce.

Out of all these, I'd say only kricketot is worse than magikarp. Well that and feebas, because it lacks bounce.

I'd say Male Combee is probably the most pathetic, at least everything at Magikarp levels of stats can evolve

I know that Magikarp's whole gimmick is that it's weak, and then it evolves into Gyarados and wrecks shit, but I wish the Pokedex entries would stop ragging on it so bad. Especially when they are incorrect about its speed, and they act like they are completely unaware that Gyarados exists. It's just dumb at this point.

It's only weak if you don't know how to use it, if you use it correctly you can OHKO Yveltal and Mega Mewtwo Y sadly the Magikarp sweep is gimped atm with the removal of bounce

The Pokedex honestly comes across as being filled in by the kids Oak and the other professors send on their journeys. Many of the 'mons 'dex entries are just flat-out ridiculous.

Considering pokemon magic, and the fact that all pokemon are descended from honest to god gods, the only one that is really too much is Magcargo being hotter than the sun, and that's really just because if he was he'd melt through the ground.
