Some like to attain pokemon legitimately and others don't. There's definitely a lot of satisfaction out of breeding and training that perfect mon you want on your team. However, it does take a lot of time -- time that many people cannot be reasonably required to put in before participating in the meta game.

What was discovered is a method to update pokeC-H-E-C-K (notice, CHECK is very different from GEN). What is happening here, is all the retards on /vp/ jumped to the idea that pokegen is getting update, which couldn't be farther away from the truth. The new PKX files can be sent through the internet through the pokecheck web protocol. However, they are encrypted, thus, they can't be loaded by pokegen.

Just ignore this thread, it's bait.

PEDs give you an advantage that normal athletes (most likely) cannot reach through normal training.

Pokegen gives you pokemon that normal users can attain, it just takes longer.

Frankly with breeding even easier this gen I don't mind RNG too much in itself- after all you still have to have a bit of skill to get what you want, but Pokegen really is just cheating plain and simple, especially considering that's an outside program altering the game.

At least most of the 'cheating' advantage is gone with perfect ivs easier to obtain. Thankfully.

If someone were to send out all-around 31 IV dittos in wonder trade, and they happened to fall into the hands of dozens of children, what then? They can't delete your save files. They can't ban you from using the online services. They can't punish these people because of the complaints that'll rush in.
