Relatively new to the competitive scene, so I thought I'd ask you guys. Got a Goodra in mind, basically a Special Wall. It'll have Rain Dance (Hydration's its ability),toxic, infestation, and rest. It'll be holding damp rock and have a calm nature. What I want to ask is about the EV spread. Should I pour it all into SpD and HP for this one? Or should I put more into Def and rely on it's natural SpD? Thanks!

Sorry for being slightly off-topic here but can I just say how much I love Goo's hydration ability? It's really great to use.

Is there any reliable way to find rain to evolve this guy?

>>15323473 Not really, just look on all the routes with potential rain. It's a son of a bitch, really, I even changed the time on the clock several times to no avail.

Run a similar spread to Blissey 6 HP / 252 Def / 252 Sp. Def Whatever Defense you can scrape up for low defense pokemon like Goodra is vital. If you're real big on the damage calculations, you can move Sp. Def values to HP until you hit a sweet spot of HP since you can easily spare Sp. Def. I would personally run a slightly different setup with Gooey, Chesto Berry, and Protect replacing Rain Dance. It's a very safe Anti-sweeper setup. Gooey to cover Physical Sweepers and high base Sp. Def + Calm Nature to stall out Special Sweepers

Here's my build that I feel kinda stupid about so I'm gonna change the EVs Perfect IVs except attack (if anybody wants some breeding rejects ask) Bold nature Hydration Binding band Toxic Rain dance Infestation Rest EVs are currently 252 hp and 129 def and spdef

Wanted to make a new thread but might aswell ask here. I want to run this Forretres as a lead pokemon. I am new to the competitive scene and have learned that a competitive pokemon team consists of the following: 1: lead 2: lead support ----------------------------- 3: core 4: core 5: core ----------------------------- 6: Glue/Revenge killer But I am having a lot of trouble figuring out what "lead support" actually means. Lead I get. The core I get. The Glue(Revenge killer) I get. But "leadsupport" confuses me. How do i pick the right one?
