Need help with this guy /vp/!

On a trick room team would it be best to go with a mixed dragonite:

Dragonite: Inner Focus
@ Life Orb
Quiet Nature. EVs: 252Atk, 252SpA, 4HP
- Draco Meteor
- Superpower
- Roost
- Flamethrower

Or a straight up physical Dragonite
Dragonite @Choice Band
Adamant
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
~ Outrage
~ ExtremeSpeed
~ Fire Punch
~ Earthquake

Never give dragonite a life orb

Outrage is not the best move to use this gen now that fairy type is a thing.

Trust me on this
Put a weakness policy on dragonite
Also dragonite on a trick room team?
80 speed ain't amazing, but it's way too fast for a trick room team.

It destroys everything

Slower, isn't way better off using Dragon Dance instead, more immediate power, less 4x weaknesses, you just really don't want to be using Dragonite on a trick room team.

Anything that's super effective against it will raise it's Sp attk and attk sharply. Multiscale will almost always prevent Dragonite from being 1 shot. Presumably the Dragonite will instantly become a beast if your opponent tries to go SE against it.

Basically
the plan is this
You have dragon dance
This raises att and speed by 1 stage each
You put out dragonite and use dragon dance
Chances are your opponent is either going to switch or use an ice/dragon/fairy/rock attack against you
Suddenly your dragonite (which should be jolly and pumped full of speed EV's)
Is outspeeding basically the entire unscarfed metagame except for guys like noivern and crobat, with +1 att at 130 base

Now if they took the bait and hit you with a super effective attack... well, it's gonna hurt.
BUT with multiscale you can survive most any super effective attack
except for a STAB life orb ice beam
do not try to bait a greninja, it will end you

Now Multiscale works like this, when you're at full hp you take half damage.
So yeah, you'll survive.
Weakness policy gives +2 to att and spa
suddenly you have a base 130 att dragonite
with +3 att +1 speed
It can easily sweep entire teams.

Oh my! I was thinking of running a regular team with a suicide gourgiest as a support trick roomer for M-Mawile and Clawitzer. I think what you described would be great for a back up if TR doesn't sweep

It's a great strategy when someone is spamming Draco Meteor to kill another of your pokemon. Then you can switch in, use agility, and barely take any damage from a half-assed meteor to activate the Weakness Policy.

It is absolutely terrifying when used correctly.

But you have to be careful what you're baiting.
Fairy attacks? Yeah, you can survive one of those
Ice attacks? As long as it isn't life orb STAB, you should be fine. Or a starmie

Dragon attacks are a grey territory
Yes, you will be taking 1x from it, but most dragons are really high power.
Don't think you can get away with tanking an outrage or a draco meteor from the likes of garchomp or hydreigon
Because those can end you from full with multiscale due to the sheer power of STAB outrage/draco meteor on 130~ att/spa guys

I've been using dragon claw, fire punch, earthquake, and dragon dance
It works pretty well.

I'm iffy on that, only because his speed is 32
after one shell smash he's still going second
and he probably isn't going to survive long enough to get an attack in after smashing

If you invest in speed, and after a shell smash at level 100, his speed will reach 358...Unless I'm mistaken. That's pretty good. Enough to outspeed quite a few opponents, and with +4attack he could always aqua jet anything too quick for him.
