IV and EV training help

I need someone to explain(bare with me i'm slightly retarded) how to perfectly breed IV's and how long it will take for me to get 5 max IV's and do I have to try EVs at lvl 1 with my baby pokemon?

Make sure either parent is holding the Destiny Knot. The parent holding the Everstone gets their nature passed down.
