I searched high and low for a Bold Klefki and before I got one I found three Calm ones and said fuck it. I've maxed its HP but don't know what to do with its EVs from there. Any suggestions?

Klefki can actually do quite a bit, but the first 4 moves I listed are probably his most annoying moveset.

Dual screens, thunderwave and foul play as filler attacking move. Have it hold light clay.

It's probably one of the best leads in the game right now. All the Japanese players are using it. Start off by using whichever of the two screens cripples whatever the opponent leads with. Then either thunderwave them or setup the other screen and switch to something else.

It also OHKOs Aegislash if it sword dances even once using foul play. There's some replay around of it killing a Tyrantrum, Mega Gengar and Aegislash without going below half HP.

It's weird. It has really shit stats.

It only has 57 base HP and defenses around 90.

and yet I've yet to see it ever get OHKO'd by anything outside of critical hits.

It has some real versatility in different fields of annoyance

Foul Play lets it kill shit with high power by using their attack against them.

Draining Kiss lets it stay alive. Did you know it drains 75% HP instead of 50%? With a big root, it's fucking even more.

Full HP rest split to make defenses equal. You might want to look at common priority users to see if you can add any speed to beat them but at a glance its base 75 speed seems to be above most things it would need to worry about. Attack isn't needed since foul play runs off the opponent's stats.

Since it's main purpose is to use prankster, you don't really need to add anything in speed at all.

252 HP and 252 Def/Sp Def, depending on what you want to prioritize. You can split if you want too. Dual Screens certainly help.

It's the typing. Steel was already a pretty good defensive typing alone, but Fairy is surprisingly good defensively as well.
They make a great combo too, Steel removing Fairy's Poison weakness, and Fairy removing Steel's Fighting weakness.

It would need speed if it faces any priority users faster than it is, meaning it would be hit before reflect goes up. Hell a single point in speed lets it beat other Klefkis by avoiding speed ties, which can let you thunderwave them first and potentially prevent it from setting up its screens with a lucky paralysis. Not saying you need max speed but a big part of its strength is going first. If your opponent has faster priority users you're going to have a harder time. Just something to consider.

What's the 8 Speed for? If you're using Twave you wouldn't even need it to be faster than them when using Foul Play.
