This. I got a japanese naive female Shellder through Wonder trade halfway through my journey, made that nigga into a cloyster, him and my Sylveon (accidentally got him trying to get espeon) have been my TRUE bros the whole time, not the adamant torchic I put in the PC, how about the charmander I got from the prof? I never challenge people since I haven't "formed a team" yet but half of my team I got accidentally and I've swept people using just cloyster and sylveon, straight up. To this day I still have no idea why someone gave away this cloyster.

Mewtwo Y does not provide anything new over normal Mewtwo. Why not use it on something else and just use normal Mewtwo? It's a waste of a mega-evolution spot.

It's not even stronger than a LO Mewtwo (just barely matches up). Mewtwo X is far better just for the better defensive typing, but not being able to utilize Psyshock properly does suck.

You don't use Mewtwo for its abilities. Insomnia is great, but quite situational. I'd still rather use a normal Mewtwo and maybe Mega Gengar or something that would make the opponent be cautious about switching their frail support pokemon or whatever.

I play ranked triples because they're infinitely better than singles. No more tedious switch faggotry, no more full teams of Leftovers stalling. People can't just rely on sweeping with MegaZiken because it will be killed immediately when it isn't behind Protect. All the common threats lose most of their power and the matches are match much interesting and varied than singles.
