Finished X, and feel like I should go back and place this game. Is it more challenging, content rich, and enjoyable than X?

I also need to play Platinum and the sequels to BW. Can someone rank em for me?

Black/White have about the same quantity of things as X and Y. More legendaries though.

Now if you play Black/White then Black/White 2 you're in for a good time.

In terms of gameplay and such it's hard to best Platinum. B/W have the best stories of any Pokemon game, and going into it as a whole new region of only new Pokemon is an awesome and axing experience - though they'll be old to you after X/Y. Still worth it for the superior story and cast though.

The reason I even swore off Pokemon was how...err..bored I was with Pearl, which is easily my least favorite up to it. Platinum is a massive improvement, or my tastes are shit?

In the same vein, it's great how having such a huge variety of Pokemon available worked for X/Y. Upwards of like 7 pokemon per route in just the grass alone? Bretty guud

BW actually had a plot, and BW2 were a legitimate sequel to BW1. Not by too much, but I'd recommend playing BW1 first.

One of the reasons you probably got bored with Pearl is that battles for some reason took FOREVER in the menus and between moves.

That was fixed in Platinum

Yeah I do remember it being slow. I also distinctly recall nothing to do postgame, and the GTS being fileld with clearly hacked mons.

Also while not a large factor, I hated Arceus. Not even from a design standpoint, just from a "are u fucking serious" standpoint in relation to him being a God/creator/xD badass Digimon.

And trust me, we don't want to be dealin with that shit. B/W are arguably the best games in the franchise. They're seen as a reboot of sorts, so I would recommend playing the games with an open mind, as it's full of nothing but new pokemon, and that's the reason most nostalgiafags hate it.

You say nostalgia fag as if its a bad thing. Pokemon has progressively gotten worse from a design standpoint, and enjoyablility. Those "nostalgiafags" played the best the series had to offer, and we retards play the shit that came after.

Also don't listen to this jabroni OP, skip to BW2. The plots nothing special, its just better than the terrible ones you are used to. N is gamefreaks attempt at a character, and his actions can simply be summarized as a faggot who wants to free pokemon from their captivity.

BW was okay right up until the endgame. Somehow the elite 4 are 10 levels above me, money is scarce and there's nowhere decent to grind (victory road is 10 levels below me).

I hate how XY overcorrected this by handing out XP and money like candy. Mega evolutions and much simpler EV training meant I could beat trainers 20 levels above me without losing a single poke.
