i have had some sort of divine intervention of shiny luck today.
Hunting for a shiny metang in friend safari, in the same safari I got a shiny klefki, an hour later I got a shiny ferroseed, and then an hour after that I got metang.
Then checking out a new ghost safari, got a shiny shuppet.
I am pushing my luck now and trying to get a shiny phantump, and may buy a lottery ticket any second.

Pic shows all the shines I have so far.
I did actually have another charmeleon, but I traded it early and now also have a shiny ditto.
The picture of delphox isnt a picture of mine, but I have one in Y.

Also, shiny mawile looks awesome

Yea I kind of regret evolving him now.
Fennekin looked great shiny, and braxien was pretty decent, but delphox not so much.
Dont really like the non-shiny version either, but I was SRing for a starter and just mashed A, after 30srs got a shiny fenniken.
I think its some sort of deity taking pity on me, considering I once spent 4 weeks sring for a shiny charmander and never got it.

I've found 4 so far. A Masquerain, Fletchinder, Sandslash and Trevenant. I found the last two withing 24 hours of one another. I think tipping must increase it because I always tip, even go out of my way to tip, and my brother who doesn't hasn't seen any.

I spent a few hours right when the technique was found and got 3 shinies. Since then, I've spent a total of maybe a couple more hours and only gotten 1, which is pretty bad compared to some people.

I've spent way more time than that total in safaris which some people seem to be having godly luck finding shinies and found none.

Really, it all still just seems like luck. Maybe tipping has some sort of effect, maybe the shiny rate has been changed, still comes down to luck, which I seem to lack.

Just two days ago I hatched a shiny Absol and caught a shiny Riolu in Friend Safari.

Now I'm breeding Eevees to try and net five IVs for the first time before I try to breed for eight shiny Eevees in order to have the full set of shiny evolutions.

One day I went chain fishing and went up to 213 but ended up reeling in too slow so I got nothing. Then I tried learning how to use the pokeradar but after 3 hours I only got a chain up to 27 once before breaking it for a pokemon I wouldn't really want a shiny version of anyway.
Then I went into the friend safari and caught a shiny metang and shiny ponyta in the same 30 minutes. I'm happy I ended up getting shinies of pokemon I actually like and think look better in shiny form.

Breeding with Jolly 4 IV Jap Ditto, and French Rash Gastly with IV in SpA and SP. Anyone want the Impish one? I'm not big on keeping shinies, but will probably keep Adamant one in case I want to breed a decent Muk.

If you have a Metal Coat, that'll do. Just drop it on anything that doesn't evolve with it. Like I said: I'm not partial towards shinies.

I had a similar thing happen to me while I was in the friend safari. Found a shiny lillipup, then not even 1-2 hours later I find a shiny larvesta.

Lillipup ended up with superior potential, Mild nature with special attack/speed/defense as the 31/30 iv's. Larvesta had superior potential, Rash nature with Special Attack and Special Defense at 31/30.
