I'm pretty sure most of us have noticed that this board has been absolutely flooded with newfags since X and Y started leaking. I know some of us have gotten annoyed with the shitposting and repetitive questions, myself included. There's no way to get rid of them, and if they fuck up and get banned, that's only one person. So, I decided that instead of getting mad at them, we should try to assimilate them into the site. That way, it'll appear as if there are no newfags on the board (or at least, noticeably fewer). So, I wrote this comprehensive guide on 4chan etiquette and I started a beginners guide to competitive Pokémon. This way, we should be getting less shitposts and less obvious questions. It's obviously not finished, but I figured I would post what I have for now since I need to eat and I have papers to write. Let me know if you think I should add anything, or maybe if we should request it as a sticky for newcomers like the 1.1 patch is, currently.
