How bad is it to have 0 ivs in a stat?
After hours of breeding I finally got a modest vulpix with drought, and 5 perfects iv, but 0 ivs in hp.
Considering that the rules set our pokemon at lvl 50, having 0 ivs in hp isnt that bad right...?

If it was in something like attack, then it'd be fine, but no IVs in HP can really make a difference than one that has maxed IVs in it.

The only stat I found to be okay at 0 IV is Initiative in Trick Room teams.

If you have one with 5 perfect IVs it won't take much longer to get another one, considering if wasn't just a product of luck with two parents with 0 perfect IVs each.

Its drought, and the nature I have problems breeding with. Takes a while to get both on the same mon and the parents dont have modest, so using an everstone isnt an option.

IV calc puts the difference at Lvl 50 at:

133
>31 HP
148

So, if you'd be hit for 140 damage in a move, 31 HP would save you.

what if I took 150 damage.
what if I took 60.
What if I took 200.
Its all whether if I just switch/pit my ninetails to something it can or just out right cannot tank.

I'm just saying, yes, 0 IV hit points is worse and giving you the numbers.

Whether or not the numbers actually matter is too difficult to quantify.
