I have finally bred a perfect, Timid Protean Froakie and now I need some advice on how to spread it's IVs.

I just plan on doing the traditional 252 Sp Atk/252 Speed/4 HP but apparently because Pokemon battles in X and Y are capped at Level 50 I should be doing 248 Sp Atk/248 Speed/8 HP. Can anyone tell me why this is so?

Dude, that's just not right. No matter how hard or easy it is to replace, this is not a trade thread and you shouldn't just ask for the entire subject of the thread.

OP I think it has to do with the way EVs are calculated at level 50 versus level 100, but it won't really make a difference with Greninja so just leave it at the default. No need to creep anything.
