If you do rate me, note that Xerneas is a fill in for my HM slave since before beating Elite Four I never bother raising a 6th since I gotta carry around some faggot with Strength, Cut and RockSmash until post game anyway. Xerbles took out 1 poke before fainting.

Swords because the lack of other good steel/ghost types in the game.

I tried to go through the whole game using new Pokemon, but I just couldn't get into using the two new Electric Pokemon, so Raichu had to do.

Dunno, for steel they give mawile pretty early on, and later it can megaevolve. As for ghosts, yeah, haunter comes a bit late.
But this alone wouldn't explain this many sword users, I'll still settle for the fact that it's a sword.

If I were to do things differently I'd drop Aegislash and Pangoro.

Having 2 Ghosts is redundant and Chandelure has really awesome coverage, and Pangoro, as much as I love him, is one of the most underwhelming Fighting types I have ever used.

Pretty much only used the charizard and goodra.
Everything else was just filler/sacrifice child to revive/super potion if needed.

I only actually used Greninja, Talonflame and Azumarill. I pretty much went through the entire game using those three until I finally caught a Pumpkaboo, and since it was only lvl 30ish at Elite 4, it wasn't used at all. Yveltal's there because I was too lazy to put it in the PC, same for HM slave.
