No, and it's probably not going to happen anyway because Gen 6 already has so many Gen I elements.

They need to get started on Gen7 or some update content for Gen6. I want an epic adventure, not 3-screen long panels pasted together and called a route/cave.

My question is what the hell they're gonna call the rest of the remakes. Red and Green were easy. They had to get a bit abstract with Gold and Silver. Now they're not even dealing with colors anymore. I actually wouldn't be surprised by Rad Ruby.

I'd be okay with it simply because the original gym leader fights and E4 were kind of shitty. Used to be pretty standard for a gym leader to have 2 or 3 of the same pokemon on their team.
I guess it's not their fault considering some types only had about 3 pokemon total, but I'd kill to replay Kanto with a bit more variety and detail.

The only remakes I want are of the 3rd releases, it's a lot and will never happen but now with the amazingly fast way to connect and trade there's no point in make two games any more let alone remake two games. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum and B&W2

>>15382099 I think it'd be cool if, instead of bothering with a fucking Hoenn remake that would make everyone think Sinnoh was next, they instead went for a compilation. 3DS carts can hold quite a bit, more than enough to store, say, Blue, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum. Much as I love Gen 5, those games ARE compatible with the upcoming Pokebank and such, so they could sensibly be left out, while the rest are left in the dust.
Then make this compilation compatible with X and Y, and you have yourself instant gold.
