I never actually tried to get a Feebas because at that point I hadn't found a Shiny in Ruby so I figured 'I'm not gonna find a Feebas'.

Battle Chatau is pretty nice but I don't do much chilling there.

When I was a kid, I loved to hang around the long-ass pier over the water where Snorlax sleeps, mostly because I found the chiptune music of that particular route really relaxing.

Call it nostalgia goggles or whatever, but the music really didn't translate well when it was redone for fire red. Or the anime for that matter.

when I was a kid, I never cared for the trumpet sounds, they never bothered me. I was poor growing up, and sometimes my parents couldnt always pay the bills.

So I would turn on Pokemon Sapphire and go to Verdanturf Town and let it play it's relaxing music as I tried to sleep through the dark, quiet nights. Luckily I had an SP, so it would light up my room a little, too. Verdanturf Town now has a strong sentimental value to me.

I still think of pokemon centers as a one-stop-shop for trainers. complete with cafeteria, beddings, and of course the pokemon clinic. It makes what they say much more reasonable, like you just booked a room for the night, and your pokemon healed in the process. And besides, they don't say it if your party gets wiped out, they give you a serious lecture about buying potions and stuff.
