I had fun until I got the the point where it was up to the RNG for more sixth IV. Before that I made noticeable progress and actually had to pay attention. Now, it's been three days straight of

RNG has given me two five IV with 0 attack IV. Wrong fucking direction, RNG.

I don't have the patience for that, so I just battle my friends, and random passerbys hoping they aren't faggots with three legendary pokemon. ( At least I took down two of their legendaries and two of their standard pokemon. )

I'd like to go into online battles without fear of competitive players though.

Actually yes.

The changes to Destiny Knot and Everstone make it more reliable and much quicker to know and transfer IVs. Breeding is now 500% faster. And there's a guaranteed way to actually get good IV'd Pokemon now, so I can use whatever the fuck I want without having that nagging feeling in the back of my mind.

Also OP don't try to pull the "Pokemon aren't meant to be bred" card, Brock has been a breeding expert since episode fucking five. If anything this is what they originally intended; people finding value in individual Pokemon and not species or shinies.

Even taking a day or two out of my schedule to breed up a new team member is tedious and unrewarding, and it hurts my ability to keep up with my coursework. I have about a million other ways i'd rather spend my weekend, so that's out too.

I can't wait until a proper gen 6 sim or pokegen comes out so I never have to put up with this shit again.
