Serena as a rival definitely ends up a little disappointed to lose over and over, but she continually respects Calem and certainly seems to like him through the story.

I wish she showed more interest though. She seems more like "I'm glad I got to know him" than "I wish I could get to know him better."

Calem is fucking obsessed with [Player Character], is constantly complimenting her and seems to be striving his entire life to be close to her/be like her. If they were two teeangers in real life all their friends would have no idea why the two hadn't fucked yet, they are clearly set apart from the rest in their likes, personalities, etc.
