Does parental bond only apply to damaging attacks? Or does it use moves like sing twice too? Would effectively give sing a better accuracy, making it a worthwhile move on khan.
It's a move from XD btw, I happen to have a khan with sing in diamond, and now I could even change it's ability to scrappy.
...But I'm sure status moves hit only once?

Max HP lets it tank fairly well while it Power-Up Punches to boost its attack. Then you can usually spam Sucker Punch. And that extra speed point lets it outspeed other 90 Speed Pokemon with no investments.

been runing a

deciding currently between substitute and roc slide/tomb for the last. Status block is nice with sub, plus with its speed maes it a pseudo scou. However rock type moves are great coverage with the other moves listed, then its just a preference between a double flinch chance or speed -2.

There are two pokemon always on my team. Zapdos (first lvl 100 ever) and Kangaskhan (first rare holographic tcg ever). This gen made her the sweeper I always knew she could be.

Might try an endure/sucker punch/pwup punch/ reversal set

176 to outspeed +spe heatran and neutral normal lucario. Those are the only significant things at that speed range. 232 if you want to outspeed max speed neutral haxorus. Max speed is pretty useless, it only ties it with Salamence, Jirachi and Volcarona.

Return I would love to have, but with EQ and SP can OHKO anything I need once I've got the power up punches off, which gives a much better type coverage beneficial for my team. M~Kangaskhan suffers from 4 move syndrome hardcore for me. STAB normal just doesnt seem necessary for what this gal can capitalizing on other moves. Maybe someday.

It's not that they're better, it's that they're used to playing WiFi while the west is already playing on sims even though they're only half-programmed.

We just don't like to play competitively when there's a 24-48 hour investment cycle in making a single usable mon.

I have to admit this is true. Although I have a full bred teeam that took a dedicated week to build.Most would not be as patient. Most pokemon players are fat and like there pokemon like fast food. They want results now not later. Meanwhile I go lift and workout for my looks while the fatties at home are playing sims and mention how they have no time for real women or to look good.

im currently 1700~ on the ladder, and I can confirm that mega-khan is seen very frequently. return just does ungodly damage and with decent bulk theres very little that will beat you straight up if you just stand and trade hits. Even rotom forms, which are on every fucking team, fall to fake out+return assuming they arent scarfed. unlike some other megas like mawhile or garchomp, who usually need a turn to set up a SD, you can just throw khan in there and have it wreck shit. i dont know if its the best mega, but it can make a huge impact on the game with virtually no set up and very limited prediction

Id say half of them run earthquake. In my experience, the M-khan will usually run power up punch or earthquake, but not both. on a set where they are running both punch and EQ (which i have never seen in like 50 games), they'd be giving up fakeout or sucker punch.

I personally run EQ on my m-kang so im not defenseless against klefki. If 1 out of every 3 teams I face is going to pack a klefki, i feel its almost a necessity

I use sims as a testing ground. I'll eventually breed whatever mons I want in-game, but I don't want to breed 20 different perfect mons with hidden abilities and egg moves just to find out I'd rather not use them.

it all depends on what you need your kang to do.

For instance, I need kang to check the rotom forms. if i wasnt carrying fakeout, return wouldnt kill and i would end up with a burned kang. with fakeout into return, I get a clean KO.

Considering that fakeout will also do around 30% to a target that doesnt resist it (and like 50% to a poke with talonflame equivalent bulk), its an excellent revenge killing tool. However, since you arent bringing power up punch, your kang will obviously be an inferior sweeper.

So, in the end, you have to figure out what kang is doing for your team. Its utility vs. increased muscle

I run Sucker Punch on my Kanga and yeah if it didnt have that you would most likely be saying "WHY DID I MEGA EVOLVE FUCK I COULD HIT GHOSTS WITH MY SCRAPPY ABILITY, 'NOW' IM FUCKED" because 90% you will most likely have purely fighting and normal attacks.

A decent counter for M-khan would probably be anything with decent defence, rough skin, and a rocky helmet. The double hits would end up killing it from the recoil damage.

I've fought multiple M-Kangaskhan online and one has never been able to get past my M-Aggron. They tend to underestimate just how high that defense is.

They're extremely dangerous if my M-Aggron is already down, though.

It has pseudo-STAB on everything, and 125 Attack is nothing to sneeze at. With 105/100/100 bulk, your helmet mon is going to have trouble doing much to it before those 150-power Earthquakes take it out, decent defense or no. You could get some nice thorns damage by switching into a punch, but then at +2 it's almost certainly going to wreck anything that can't outspeed it and isn't a dedicated physical wall.

All tracers use special moves, it's pointless.

The most effective counter to M-Kanga is Rocky Helmet Ferrothorn, which can tank any hit from M-Kanga on the switch and take out about 3/5ths of his HP with the double-stacked Helmet+Barbs.

Anybody try a bulky set with Drain Punch yet?

How about this for an M-Kang counter:

Bulky Reuniclus @leftovers
/whatever EV's Bulky Reuniclus runs
-Skill Swap
-Calm Mind? (for double boost)
-some attacking move
-Either attacking move or recovery move

I've never used Reuniclus so I don't know really how it's best run, but there's my idea. Have it tank a few hits and Skill Swap, then take em to pound town. Double Calm Mind and Double Recover

Thoughts? I haven't put too much thought into it really.

Come on lads, breed that move onto a kangaskhan and you have a rape machine even without power-up punch. I've taken several pokemon out with a single parental bomd double-edge. I think abomasnow was the tankiest one that surprised even me that it died in one hit.

What I also like is a double STAB Fake Out in my doubles team as mega kangaskhan. Hell, it takes some pokes to half-health already if they are non-bulky sweepers like the ninja frog.

Also, I don't think earthquake hits twice with parental bond.

it's pretty good. using it to rack up bp at the maison. you just gotta avoid status ailments and have an answer to a few ghosts and shit.

currently trying to figure out what i want to pair it with. ferrothorn and volcarona come to mind. maybe azumarill or scizor or gengar. anybody have any ideas?
