So I heard that if you format/factory reset your 3DS, it resets what you have in your Safari. Has anyone tried this?

Yes.

Remember to remove everyone from your friend list first, as there is a weird issue where someone who puts you back on their friends list won't have access to your safari, as it somehow remembers your trainer as connected to your previous FC.

Your safari goes by your trainer ID, not friend code.

Reformatting doesn't do anything, I know, I've done it three times and still have the same shitty safari
