Convince me to buy a 3DS and this shit /vp/

I loved the fuck out of B&W but I'm pretty god damn clingy to my sprites. Am I the only one who dislikes the 3d rendered pokemon?

The models grow on you and are very likeable but that is seriously the only thing XY has going for it over BW.

It's a little sad to see go yes, but the cel-shading does wonders at disguising the jump.

Plus you get to see a much wider range of motions for your team instead of the same looped head bobs and obvious sprite stretching.

Oh, and it has the most entertaining bonding minigames / modes since HG/SS, so there's that.

That last bit interests me quite a bit, although I'm guessing they've still not brought back the opening party pokemon following you around on the overworld since HG/SS.
