My first lvl 100 in X Y and it still has uses with Flamebody/Fly. My playthrough Talonflame will never lose useability and I just finished breeding a perfect one for competitive play. He will be my best bro this generation.

though i'm not sure whether Gale Wings should used than Flame Body. He and Gyarados are basically type counterparts in my team. I had Gyarados with Bite, Ice Fang, Dragon Dance and Aqua Tail.

Well gale wing gives priority but I don't have that yet. I'm still breeding a competition one. But flame body is a nice scree you ability, I want gale wing though. So bad.

I use a similar set, but I think I went with 252 Attack, 134 Speed, and put the rest in HP (He's fast as fuck anyway, and I mainly just use the priority moves).

-Acrobatics
-Flare Blitz
-U-Turn
-Roost

I love U-Turn on this guy because I use him as a hit and run type Pokemon. I don't see the point of Steel Wing (aside from fairy coverage) because who in their right mind would try to leave him in against a rock type?

I saw someone mention the setup I'm using on Smogon. He used a different moveset, but the EV spread seemed ideal to me. He's fast as shit with great priority moves, why not give him some HP EV's, right? I've used it online quite a bit and he's yet to be outsped. Plus, he's taken hits that I was sure would have killed him. Last night, he shook off a T-Bolt from a max Sp. Att Goodra. Two Hit KO'd him ftw, too. Just wish I could find a damn flying gem...

I'm looking for pokemon that wall the fuck out of him. Tired of running into him in online play. I may resort to just running cofagrigus to nulify his ability since it's stupid. Flying/fire is a pretty good attacking combo. Too bad all the rock/water pokemon are terrible.

Yeah, it seems to be Greninja, Delphox, and Talonflame in the number one slot as far as MA is concerned. Doesn't ruffle me though. It seems pretty clear you get better shit as gifts from your mon amie visitors if they're all the same type, and the best stuff comes if they're all the same mon. So people can overuse whatever they like as long as I keep getting pointless decorative rewards for it.
