There's probably a cool down factor of about 2-3 hours more than likely.

I'd image its put in place so that you can't continuously game sync and possibly crash a server or something.

Damn. I had to game sync to send my Pokemiles, then spent them and then tried to game sync again to have the rare candies I bought transfer to my game. Come to think of it, if there is that cooldown, that's not a very efficient system. Is that how it works? I'm late to global link party this gen.
