I did trade a 6IV ralts for a Shiny ralts with meh IV's, but, its all in what the person with the shiny thinks it's worth.

Just going by how many people seem to find them there, like mine here >>15412164 , there's a possibility, but nothing's confirmed as of yet.

I think the only confirmed easier methods of shiny obtaining are Masuda Method breeding, Chain Fishing, and the Shiny Charm (if it gets revealed in XY, otherwise it's just B2W2)

Using Sweet Scent to encounter horde after horde is really effective too. Ive encountered 3 shinies that way. All in a short amount of time.

If you worked really hard to catch a shiny Pokemon (say, in the friend safari) and your Synchro decided to make use of its 50% fail rate, would you keep the shiny with the hindered nature? Would you train it? Or would you consider it a waste and keep going?

I love my shiny Eevee but it's Naive, and I want a Sylveon. I realize this is a waste of a Naive Eevee. Is my shiny for nothing? Should I make it the Jolteon it was clearly meant to be? What would you do?

Yeah, that's what I figured. Shinies are difficult to find, and unless you're going the way of Masuda, getting the right nature and IVs is pure dumb luck.

I'm not a major competitive player so Idk why I care, I was just like "wow the EXACT WRONG NATURE great."

Sometimes this shit just happens.

Couldn't believe it when I found it.

When catching it, I got it down to yellow health and then it decided to start killing itself with Take Down, so I noped and used my Master Ball.

I have no regrets

As a bonus, it has perfect IVs in SpAtk and Attack, with 30s in everything else except Defense and Speed (27-29 according to calculator).

My humble collection. Chained for Shellder and Skrelp, though I got the Shellder after only 11 chains though, and seeing as how chains can get into the 100s, I think that's pretty impressive. Found Foongus on the way to getting the Dark Pulse TM, and I Masuda'd for Espurr.

By the way, what's the best way to build a Dragalge? I eventually want to train these guys, even if all of their IVs (except Espurr's) are random and/or shitty. Should I make it bulky?
