You catch 2 or 3 IV Dittos, then breed with the Pokemon you want til it has the desired IVs then breed with another ditto for the rest. Hunting anything with 4 or more is a waste of time, but not impossible.

Alright, so if I've got a ditto with HP, SP, and def (but 0 attack) I should breed it with destiny knot to my other pokemon with perfect attack and sp atk with everstone (for the nature) and eventually i'll have everything but sp. def?

I have 2 Atk/Def/SpA/SpD Dittos from Friend Safari. And about 10 3 IV ones. Just catch like 50 and check them.

I used a Smeargle with False Swipe and Rest. Quick Ball turn one, if it fails false swipe next turn. The enemy Smeargle (Ditto) will put itself to sleep while you spam Dusk Balls.

Also OP, I caught a four IV ditto in less than thirty minutes. It's not that hard.

You didn't get a single triple? I just counted my Dittos, I have 71 total from Friend Safari. 8 are triple, 2 are quad.

Those are its level 30 stats. While you could find its IVs with them using a calculator, it's easier just to take it to the guy in the Kiloude City Pokecenter that tells you which IVs are 31 (perfect).

78 hp is the maximum stat ditto can have at that level so its hp is perfect, the other stats are pretty close to perfect as well, 43 is the stat to look for in ditto at level 30. If he has a 43 in a stat its perfect.

Being hard or not has nothing to do with it. There's no player control over getting 80 two stat dittos in a row. Getting a 4 stat in half an hour is pretty damn lucky. Not easy.
