I kind of enjoyed the rivals we have now HOWEVER I would much rather have an asshole of a rival that rubs his accomplishments in your face.
I do miss that. The rivals we have now are stupidly beta.

There is a reason its rival and not the faggot final boss showing off mid game. Having a rival battle be unbeatable would be retarded since your suppose to measure your growth against them as you progress through the game.

If it makes you feel any better at least Green was still ahead of you the entire fucking game no matter how hard you spanked him each battle.

At least one of the E4 only had four Pokemon. That pissed me off.

I haven't gone back to challenge them again, but I'm crossing my fingers that they upgrade all their Pokemon teams after the first challenge like in past games.

How good can the chateau get?

I get tons of exp and money by using o powers and doing triple battles in the 3 star resturant but i never really tried doing the chateau for stuff. All the people in it are still using level 20s

You have to rank up, then they start getting higher level pokes.
Then you just issue a Black writ and a Gold Writ.
Black increases the levels of the trainers pokes by ~20
Gold makes more trainers show up
