They could've used any existing cool/graceful Pokemon, but instead we get these unusual things. Explain why.
There's as much evidence for it as there is against it. In fact there's evidence in that these 'random' statue designs exist in the first place when any existing Pokemon would make an acceptable statue.
If you think we're really reading too much into this, screenshot the thread and laugh at us when the real Volcanion/Diancie/Hoopa are shown.
