The problem with her original color scheme is that it's all just flat white. There's no contrasting colors or anything. I picked a grayish brown because it went well with both her hair color and the white of her coat.

It's white with gold highlights. That's something you can work with. Besides, keeping to her own style, whether you like it or not, is better than making her dress like some generic housewife with a lab coat.

Well, it's more of a personal preference, but I like the "plain" look of the browns I used. And the dark pants bring more focus to the bottom of what was originally a very top-heavy design.

It helped but wasn't enough, which is why I added the pants as well. But looking at it again, the white pants do look a bit better and help keep the actress look.
