So do you guys who farm eggs with Masuda Method pretty much just concede that your shiny will have shit IVs? Because obviously while I can make one of the parents perfect chances are the different language parent I get will have a shitty spread since I didn't raise them.

Just get one of the parents with the right Nature and good EVs and keep trading Dittos on the GTS until you get a japanese one with 2-3 good IVs.

You won't get a perfect IV shiny, but with Destiny Knot you have a chance of getting a decent shiny.

You're guaranteed 4 perfect IVs in the stats you want as long as you breed perfect 5IV parents. (Assuming you aren't breeding for a mixed set) You have a pretty decent chance of getting all 5.

I don't play Pokemon competitively. IVs and EVs are something I couldn't give less of a shit about. I play with Pokemon whose designs I like and I only use damaging moves.

I've never cared about IVs; EV Training has always been enough for me when I battle my friends. So I've always conceded my shinies will have shit IVs and I've always conceded that I'm going to get my ass kicked in an online/competitive environment.

I actually tested this using two USA carts, one set to ENG and one to SPA.

"Outsider Pokémon gain 1.5 times the normal experience points awarded for participating in battles; outsider Pokémon from other countries will gain 1.7× the normal experience."

Based on this info, I took a SPA pokemon and traded it to my ENG game. I then found a foreign JPN pokemon. I took them out to the wild and found they were gaining the exact same boosted experience. This verified that my SPA pokemon is indeed considered foreign.

I hate this, it made me lose all interest in my wonderlocke since everything leveled up way too fast. Even when I avoided all avoidable trainers and ran from every wild encounter. I obviously had EXP share off.

If the person has the ability to create eggs then they won't be stuck in the first couple routes and therefore are likely to have non shitmons to trade/breed

I still wouldn't want to have to hatch anything I get from wonder trade, even if it's not a crap pokemon. I'm sure the reason they don't allow it is because wonder trade is supposed to be a quick thing, you give a pokemon and you get a pokemon, immediate results, type deal.

They could have a seperate Egg Wonder Trade though, that would be fine. One for eggs, one for hatched mons.
