Can now choose what region your character is originally from and NPCs will react to you differently because of it (they may look down on you as a bumpkin from Unova, or swimmers may admire you for being from Hoenn). >Many new clothing items, clothing worn by NPC trainers (Breeders, Punks, Ace Trainers, etc.) and clothing sets based previous game protagonists (you can dress up like Red or Ethan/Gold, etc.) >Much more interaction with your rivals/friends. They have their own sidequests and subplots attached to them and you talk to them more frequently.

I definitely want more sidequest content. Stuff that furthers individual characters development. Pokemon has a lot of fun characters that really dont get much time to shine at all. I'd LOVE if they did something as ambitious as the world championships again. Its a shame every time gamefreak does something really cool and then never does it again and instead adds some new shitty thing no one wants like fucking Sky Battles.

Flare had an obvious sort of 'split' in the higher ranks between trainers like the Admins (which I think Malva would've been closer to) and the Scientists (Xerosic and the girls).
